As Business Manager at Newline Highways, I oversee the strategic coordination of our operations — including transport logistics, fleet management, and the delivery of vehicle restraint system (VRS) and Permanent traffic signs schemes. My role is focused on aligning our day-to-day operations with long-term business objectives, ensuring that every element of delivery — from plant readiness to resource allocation — meets our exacting safety and quality standards.

I work closely with senior leadership and site teams to drive efficiency across our operational model, maintaining clear oversight of certification, compliance, and workforce deployment. I play a central role in project planning and programme execution, ensuring our crews and assets are mobilised effectively to support contract performance.

A key part of my role includes managing client interfaces, overseeing quotation processes, and supporting commercial functions such as job bookings and payment applications. I was instrumental in the successful onboarding of Newline Highways into the Amey Area 10 contract — helping to streamline workflows, implement the Highbar payment system, and build the foundations for long-term delivery success.
