Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee our on-site operations. In this role, you will be responsible for leading installation teams, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will act as the main point of contact on-site, liaising with project managers, clients, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating site teams.

• Overseeing the removal, installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of Vehicle Restraint Systems (VRS), TVRS and parapets following CD377.

• Ensuring that all work is carried out safely and in compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

• Conducting site briefings, toolbox talks, and safety inspections.

• Enforcing Health & Safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).

• Liaising with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide progress updates and resolve issues.

• Managing site materials, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient workflow.

• Keeping accurate site records, including work completed, safety checks, and any incidents through the Re-flow management tool.

• Identifying and resolving on-site challenges, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

• Assisting with emergency response situations, including urgent repairs to barriers or fencing.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within highways, construction, or fencing industries.

• SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification (essential).

• CSCS/FISS card with a minimum level 2 diploma in VRS (essential).

• Full UK driving licence (essential)

• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations (ex. LOLER, PUWER, HSG47) and experience enforcing them on-site.

• Ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring high productivity and quality.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Willingness to travel and stay away as projects may require work across the UK.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
